About Us

Our Family Law Practice

Kee Solicitors was established in 2018 by Jonathan Kee, an experienced Solicitor who specialises in Family Law. We have offices in Glasgow City Centre and Stepps, and a conference room in Falkirk. We provide representation across central Scotland.

It is not always essential for you to meet your Solicitor face to face; therefore, we also offer Facetime and Skype meetings if you prefer. We can provide you with excellent service across a range of legal matters that arise in the course of family life including Wills, Powers of Attorney, Civil Litigation, Separation, Divorce and Child Custody. Our services pages provide more detail.

Why Choose Us?

Anyone who has instructed a Solicitor in the past will know there is a lot more to legal representation than simply getting advice. We, of course, provide honest, accurate, and upfront legal advice, but over and above that we are a service-focused, affordable firm. We focus on:

  1. Cost-effective service – Lawyers can be expensive. We reduce the cost of our service to our clients by being selective with our overheads. Our main office is in Stepps, in North Glasgow, with smaller meeting facilities in Glasgow and Falkirk. This reduces our overheads versus law firms based in Glasgow city centre. We operate a predominately paperless office, don’t have unnecessary junior members of staff, and instead look to modern solutions to administration. Our business model is streamlined and we pass those savings on to you without any sacrifice to the service we offer. We offer a unique bill structure that is more beneficial to you and completely transparent with no hidden costs. Please see our Fee page for more details.
  2. Frequent communication – It can be very frustrating when you don’t know what is happening with your case. Your family lawyer will keep you up to date and provide advice every step of the way. We’re also happy to tailor our service to your specific needs and wants. Just let your solicitor know how you want things to be done at your initial meeting.
  3. Clear, step by step advice – Certain areas of legal practice and procedure can be very complicated and at times daunting. We’ll always make sure you understand where your case is and what possibilities lie ahead in order to help you make the best decisions about how you want to proceed. Everyone’s end goal is different and we’ll help you get there.
