Gabriella Lipschitz

Gabriella is an Associate Solicitor and Notary Public, working across both Kee and Stowe’s teams. She graduated from the University of Edinburgh with First Class Honours in Law in 2020, before completing the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice with Distinction in 2021.

Having completed a specialist family law traineeship at a leading Edinburgh firm, Gabriella went on to develop her family law expertise within a busy litigation practice, regularly appearing in Scottish Sheriff Courts and working alongside senior counsel in complex Court of Session proceedings.

Gabriella advises on a broad range of family law matters, including divorce and financial provision, cohabitation claims and disputes concerning children. She has a particular interest in complex financial and children law matters, including cases involving international and cross-border considerations.

Gabriella places particular importance on establishing a clear, strategic approach from the outset, shaped by a thorough understanding of each client’s priorities and the issues at stake. She combines pragmatic, commercially minded advice with sensitivity to the personal complexities of family disputes. Her approach is collaborative and holistic, with a focus on building strong client relationships and achieving practical, lasting outcomes.

Having gained experience at highly regarded family law firms in both Edinburgh and London, Gabriella has developed a strong understanding of both Scottish and English family law. She is currently working towards dual qualification as a solicitor in England and Wales.

Alongside her practice, Gabriella has tutored family law at the University of Edinburgh for the past five years and contributed to legal publications, including a chapter published in Thomson’s Family Law in Scotland. She maintains a keen interest in children’s rights, social justice and the academic development of family law.

Outside of work, Gabriella enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, playing tennis and boxing.
